Copper engraving from two plates, by Gabriel Bodenehr, Augsburg about 1720, 17,3 x 38,5 cm.

Gabriel Bodenehr (1664 - 1758) was a copper engraver and publisher. 1716 he bought the copper plates of Johann Stridbeck (1640 - 1716), revised and completed them with his own maps, views and plans, and published them in several editions. 1758 Georg Christian Kilian (1709 - 1781) took over his the publishing house.
