Adolph Friedrich Kunike (1777 Greifswald - Vienna 1838)

German-Austrian lithographer, painter, draughtsman and publisher
Kunike studied at the academy of arts in Vienna. He was trained in the technique of lithography by Alois Senefelder (1771 Prague - Munich 1834), who invented lithography. 1817 Kunike founded his own workshop for lithography. He worked after drawings of many famous artists of his time, e.g. after Jacob Alt and others.
