Splendid view of the baroque palace, built for the count Trautson after plans of Johann Bernhard Fischer zu Erlach in the years 1710-1712. In the foreground walking people and farmers.

Etching and copper engraving, drawn and engraved by J. Ziegler in Vienna 1780, published by Artaria & Co, Vienna about 1780. Plate size 33 x 43 cm, paper size 40 x 49 cm, with privilege: Cum Priv. S.C.M.

First state with the number 11 at upper left, nice and bright original water-colouring.

Just a few, not very dark spots, mainly at margins outside of the image, otherwise perfect condition.

The landscape painter Laurenz Janscha (1749-1812) published together with the engraver Johann Andreas Ziegler (1749-1802) and the landscape painter C. Schütz (1718-1791) from 1779 the splendid series „Collection de 50 vues de la ville de Vienne” with more than 50 very decorative and picturesque views of Vienna.
