Assiniboin Indians

The Assiniboin are a Siouan Native American / First
Nations people originally from the Northern Great Plains
of the United States and Canada, especially known as
buffalo hunters. The warrior Pitätapiú carries a rawhide
shield with an amulet attached, a riding whip and a
bow-lance tipped with a metal spearhead. The second
man is armed with a flintlock trade gun.
