Mythological scene: A young couple (Narzissus and the mountain nymph Echo)
bends over a small watering place watching the reflection, Amor is standing in the background.

Date: Spain, about 1860.
Size: Hight 28 cm.

Folding fan made of 16 mother-of-pearl sticks, including the coversticks, with fine decorative floral carvings. Upper part covered with paper on both sides.

Colours a little bit worn at folds, otherwise very good condition.

Provenance: Princess Pilar of Bavaria.
