One side with a fine gouache painting, skilfully worked out in detail, on light-coloured leather.

A busy market in the countryside in front of a bullring, with a rich figurative staffage.

Inscribed: Bach, Madrid.
Date: Spain (Madrid) about 1890/1900.
Size: Hight 32,5 cm.

Folding fan made of 18 mother-of-pearl sticks, including the coversticks, with fine decorative
floral carvings, partly heightened with gold. Upper part covered with leather on both sides.

Only a few traces of use.

Provenance: Princess Pilar of Bavaria.
