Decorative painting with opaque colours on pink silk-duchesse. Back side black.

Scene of a bullfight with a torero attracting the bull with his red cape, beside, on his fallen horse, a picador with his lance.
The picture is bordered at its left and right side with lances, flags and saddles.

Date: Spain, beginning of the 20th century.
Size: Hight 33 cm.

Folding fan made of 16 dark tortoiseshell sticks, including the coversticks.
Upper part covered with silk-duchesse on both sides.

Pink silk-duchesse with some spots, esp. at the left side, otherwise good condition.

Provenance: Princess Pilar of Bavaria.
