Gustav Georg Lange (1812 - 1843)

Draughtsman and publisher of Darmstadt, published from 1832 illustrated books with town views. The 'Originalansichten der historisch-merkwürdigsten Städte in Deutschland, ihrer Dome, Kirchen und sonstigen Baudenkmale' were published in 6 volumes with about 1500 steel engravings until 1855. He was supported by his brothers Ludwig Lange (1808 - 1868), who was a draughtsman and architect, and by the painter Julius Lange (1817 - 1878).
