Carl Freidrich Heinzmann (1795 – 1846)

From 1815 Heinzmann studied landscape painting under Wilhelm von Kobell at the academy of arts in Munich. He mainly painted landscapes in Upper Bavaria in the style of Wilhelm von Kobell and Johann Georg von Dillis. In the foreground of his landscape paintings he shows figurative depictions and genre scenes of peasant life. His paintings were often reproduced as lithographs.
