A highly imaginative and humorous map of Cockaigne, the land of plenty, with its regions like the land of feasting (Lurconia Reg.), of drinking (Bibiona Reg.), of the mammon and the stomach (Mammonia, Stomachi Imperium) and with lakes and rivers like the wine-river or the drunkard-lake. With a decorative, baroque cartouche with allegories on plenty and abundance. The map is based on the book "Erklärung der Wunder-seltzamen Land-Charten Utopiae ..." by the general Johann Andreas Schnebelin (died 1706), written after the idea of the English Bishop Joseph Hall about a satirical geography of a a fictional utopia.
